| Why this tattoo?; -Pheonix is rebirth from the ashes, an always inspiring and significant idea for most people especially when grieving -Its usually paired with dragons traditionally, and since i want a dragon tat one day i could wait for a really badass one or go with the design i had before -The rose is something apparently my dad wasn't so good at drawing, which is surprising since he was a tatoo artist, but anyway he really admired my little doodle of one i did once. I think he would have liked this rose much better though (its sort of just a personal memorial tribute) -Being that the pheonix and rose is in flames i thought it could help me move on emotionally, to have a tribute to my dad in a tattoo, even though i always wanted him to design my first one. -It's not one of my best phoenix i've drawn but i like the flow for a shoulder tattoo -Not that its obvious or important but i snuck my signature in the flames so this design is MINE please don't ruin it for me |
